The life with onomatopoeia

I wanted to introduce the concepts of Japanese onomatopoeia to foreign people. The Japanese language has plenty of onomatopoeia. By using it, we can communicate much information; sense of feeling, smell, weight, speed, etc. However, it is no more than character strings for people who do not use Japanese. I explained it not by words, but by “experiences.” I created some objects that enabled people to experience the meaning of words, and made a film as a summary of those.

Challenge

How can I convey the meaning of Japanese onomatopoeia to someone who is just beginning to study Japanese?
