NIKON Rebranding

I worked on renewing the identity system of NIKON. I learned they are involved in a variety of optics-based sectors, not just cameras. They manufacture microscopes, telescopes, and other instruments, and are also active in cell culture, consulting for experiments in the medical field, and the imaging business. They also have a vision of "aiming for a global society where humans and machines co-create seamlessly" toward the year 2030. I made a logo based on a typeface that combines hard angles and soft curves, with the letter K as an arrow to express the company's aspiration to open up new directions.

Challenge

How can I maintain the impression of their advanced technology in optics and their commitment to precision, while adding a sense of warm color that is closer to that of human beings?

Since the typeface on which the logo is based is wide, I chose a narrower typography to combine with it to create depth on the canvas while at the same
time expressing a sense of precision.
The corporate color yellow, which is currently used by the company, is a
unique color not found in other companies in the industry, so I kept it and
used a gradient to connect it with the more warm orange-magenta color.
I set up the arrows and the frame, taken from the logo,  as secondary elements.
I also use a scale pattern for precision and a gradient bar for modest color.

Process

Initial draft sketches for logo animation.
Initial sketch of the business card design.
I adjusted the distance between the dot and the stem of “i" according to the size of the logo. The stroke of k was also adjusted to appear constant.
